Topic: Keyframes
Maybe there could be an option do to keyframe per frame, a button that puts a keyframe on all limbs? And also a button to un-keyframe limbs. This would help a great deal with animations :)

Keyframe on all limbs is coming. You can un-keyframe by pressing Backspace while you have it selected, or by choosing Delete from the Edit menu.

Ah, thanks ![]()

That and the Undo options were ones that were implemented the night before Dimp Preview's release. I'd had to survive without them for months. ![]()
Unlucky there, Sean ![]()

Oh well, I survived. Sijmen and I had to save at every point we liked and reload if we made a mistake.
I see what you mean now, you basically (for keyframes) want an "activate all" and "delete all" option.
Precisely ![]()

Well actually, whilst making my entry for the upcoming contest, I discovered that this would be a rather useful feature. ![]()
I only needed to activate 3 or 4 keyframes, but activating them all wouldn't have harmed but it would have saved time.
What I'm worried about is that instead of 'getting' the keyframe thing, people will just full-keyframe every second.
Ahaha. Well Sijmen, I just had to keyframe every one of them about 10 times making my animation. So I'd really appreciate this feature, and they'd figure it out pretty quickly anyways.
I care more for dimp on 10.4.11,
I have more than 1 computer you know!
But moving the keyframe is good ![]()

Sorry? Are you requesting Dimp work for 10.4?
well not... err...umm... nevermind.
lets get on topic shall we?

An excellent suggestion. Let's refrain from posting here unless knew thoughts on the matter of the "keyframe all" / "Delete all keyframes" options.
Thanks!

Sijmen, the limb keyframe thing is a bit weird and hard to get used to. But it will help alot of people. It will also (If there isn't an option to do the normal method) Put off alot of people from buying the program. However, everyone will get used to the system eventually and incorporate it into their animations.

What do you call the "normal" method?
Note: 200th post. ![]()
I dont know either
Sean:What the.... you wer,,, umm... WHAT!?!

What was that last spasm about? ![]()
umm,your uberness ![]()

By normal method I mean whole frame keyframing not limb keyframing ![]()
(Zenmen, I'm catching up to your post amount - I just thought I'd point it out since it seems to mean so much to you
)
