This is the first day that these forums have been open and therefore not all features are implemented. You're bound to see many changes come the next few days/weeks.
There has been discussion between both of us about how a user will be ranked. Talk has surrounded specific ranks for those who purchase Dimp as well as post-orientated ranks. I'm confident we're not far from finalizing the concept but any added tips or advice will be greatly appreciated.
I've convinced Sijmen not to abandon the "rank per post" idea. If to not only continue a user's "Post count" but to also allow for ranks. Therefore you could suggest a few ranks to us?
I don't like your current ones because you focus too much on the stick figure. Dimp is known as Dimp Animator and not stick-figure animator so perhaps if you broaden your zone of ranks they would work better?

You've correctly understood the concept of working around a "society" for ranks. But so far, I like the idea of if you're under a certain amount of posts, you're "passing-by". Which is why I called for Traveler to be the first.
The second, I wanted to be Resident, because that means you spend time in Dimpleton but you're not granted citizenship yet. Which leads the third to be citizen as you are now accepted as a full-time part of the society.
"Renown Citizen" would not work with "Citizen" already being one. "SPARTA", well... lol. "Land Owner" implies that the Citizens were sleeping in sheds but "Senior" is promising.
I'll get back to you on that note, and I'll leave this thread open seeing as we haven't completed the ranks.
