well you may not get this, but the idea is that you can connect 2 objects together and (like stick man to a stick) and they will stay together,it will add realism when your making an animation with a stick and, well, a stk.

I'm confident this is something that Sijmen is planning. When talking to you about guns, etc. in the FAQ thread, he mentioned that for now "linking" will not be a feature, but this shows that he knows of it and is working out how to implement it in the future.
