Topic: Animation avatar

A few people have asked me how I got my Dimp animation into an animated avatar, so I thought I'd officially offer my services as the forums free avatar maker :)

If anyone wants their animation made into an avatar just post below with a link to it and I'll send it back to you :)

Please specify if you want any movement, effects or colors, but I cannot guarantee perfect results if you wish to use color. And please try to keep effects simple if you wish to have them.

I only screen capture it and port it to another program anyway. If you want an avatar of it and have a movie file, I can do it smile

I used a screen capture program called iShowU but I converted it to a .gif on gifninja.com and it got totally raped..

It's good to know from an administrative point-of-view that .gif avatars are currently working, I've had problems with these in the past on other forums. Have you had to change their resolution to a set standard or does Dimpleton resize it for you? (I haven't tried myself, sorry.)

It was weird how my avatar wouldn't change but for some reason when i went on today it changed to the new 1 i wanted.

i do export to 60 x 60 also. but when changing the avatar it takes awhile for it 2 change.
