But it seems like it isn't allowed to add images, why is this?

I have enabled it in the settings but it doesn't seem to really work right, somehow.
I saw that image appear in your signature in another post. It might just be a temperamental feature.

Well it worked when I first noticed it. Are you still using the right code or have you resulted to just linking it? (Note: I haven't made a single effort yet to check how to embed images into a signature on these forums.)
It's probably something with the forum. I'll try to find out what's causing this.

Well at one stage it worked, so try it again and leave it for a while.
I've just realised something very odd. The signature image actually works but only if your not signed in! How weird is that 
Oops, stupid me! Of course. I looked it up and you can change the setting whether to view signatures in Profile, halfway down the Settings screen
Ah, fantastic, well done Sijmen! (Not sarcasm) So can this be a default setting from now on for new users? Because I dont want the be the only person who can see it ;)
Try putting it in your signature now?
